Jennifer Hamilton has been capturing birth and newborns since 2012. Her studio is located in the birth center and offers our clients special discounts.
When you meet me, I will probably have red hair, although I have been know to get a streak of purple or blue if the mood strikes. What you may notice about me is that I genuinely enjoy people and can be a bit on the talkative side! I am passionate about photography, and I want you to love your photos as much as I love taking them! I approach every photo session with a mix of nervous excitement and I-can’t-wait-to-get-home-see-what-I-captured! Being able to help my family by doing something I love is a true blessing. I simply could not do this without the support of God, family, friends, and of course, my loyal clients!
I am a lifestyle photographer in San Antonio, TX using natural light to capture those little moments that mean everything to you. My sessions are unscripted conversations, focusing on the connection of your relationships. I am a mom to two beautiful boys here on Earth and three angel babies in Heaven. I am married to my wonderful husband Paul, who is my partner in everything, including Frog Prince!
I have always loved working with children and graduated from Abilene Christian University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. That same love for children has since carried over in my love of photographing children.
I enjoy being creative, capturing memories that are gone all too quickly, documenting life as it happens, and presenting you with precious moments captured for years to come. I would absolutely love to get to know YOU!
For me, photography is a way of seeing life. So many little moments pass us by every day and photography allows me to slow down, reflect, and capture those moments. Through the lens, I can focus in on beauty in the world that others sometimes miss or don’t even notice. My passion for photography gives me the ability to shoot images that truly describe someone’s personality, or the connection in relationships, whether this is between people, or less tangible subjects. Photography truly is “a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.” My photographs preserve these moments.
I graduated from Texas State University in 2011 with a BFA in Photography. I currently work in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I began my career with still life and nature photography, but after college I expanded my work to family portraiture. My work centers around capturing candid moments through the use of natural lighting.
Newborn photography makes me happy. My husband claims I just play with babies all day. And he isn’t wrong! But the job takes a tremendous amount of patience and a soothing touch. There are many hours of waiting for babies to eat or sleep, straightening clutched fingers, cleaning poopy blankets, editing out jaundice, designing beautiful albums, and constantly soaking in more knowledge and training.
Because I am so blessed, I feel called to give back all that I can. I often donate my time to worthy organizations such as my church, The Ronald McDonald House, and local adoption agencies. I also volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep by providing bereavement photography, The Tiny Sparrow Foundation which provides photography sessions to children with life threatening illnesses, and with Operation: Love ReUnited which supports our military and their families during times of deployment.
Capturing an expectant mother’s twinkling eyes, a father’s loving gaze, a newborn’s yawn, a breastfeeding mother’s perfect embrace, a chubby baby’s drooling grin… those are the moments we love capturing the best.
Time moves too quickly. The day to day blurs together and years pass. Our job is to capture those fleeting moments and transform them into timeless art you can love forever.

Originally from California, and currently live in San Antonio, Texas. I am a mother of one beautiful little girl and three rescued dogs. I have an amazing husband that I have been happily married to for over two years. My main focus was always weddings and I still love to shoot them, but after having my daughter she has given me a new passion in life. I recently became a Doula and started exploring photography the birth world.
