Abundant Life Chiropractic

Angie Artho, D.C.

Many moms who have had previous pregnancies without chiropractic care have proclaimed how much easier their pregnancies with chiropractic care were and wish they had known about it sooner. Many birth attendants-including obstetricians and midwives- refer their patients to chiropractors because of the safe and effective treatment for moms for low back pain and other conditions. In fact, Dr. Angie Artho has had the privilege and honor of treating many obstetricians, midwives, nurses, and fellow chiropractors during their own pregnancies. Dr. Angie Artho, D.C. has received numerous hours of post graduate training in the care of the mother's changing spine and conditions related to pregnancy. She used chiropractic care for herself during all four of her pregnancies too!

advanced back & body

Quincy Shirley D.C. FICPA, ACN

Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Advanced Care Back & Body emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our chiropractic services. For some, Advanced Care Back & Body will take them back to a place that is cozy and familiar, offering chiropractic care that assists in a rediscovery of health and wellness that had been previously known but long lost. For others, the journey may offer a new sense of balance, one never before experienced.

Alexandra Sweeney, DC, MCS-P

Many pregnant women are familiar with mid-back and low back pain and are looking for relief. Others come in because they've heard how chiropractic can help them feel their best during their labor. The benefits of chiropractic adjustments are many during pregnancy, especially if you see a chiropractor who is familiar with pregnancy, like Dr. Alex. We utilize Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, myofascial release and trigger point therapy to help our patients feel their best. Webster Technique is commonly used to help loosen the ligaments attached to the uterus along with adjustments to the pelvis and sacrum. The ultimate goal is to allow the uterus to free flow in space to encourage the baby to an optimal position. Post-partum rehab can help to regain core strength as well as help with diastasis recti and prevent chronic conditions.
